Obituary
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend, age 98, of Chicago, Illinois passed peacefully on April 6, 2016 after a brief illness. Sidney was the son of the late Alexander and Rose Moltz. He was preceded in death by his dear wife Elsie Moltz and is survived by his sons Richard (Kate), Sanford, and Jordan, and his grandchildren: Alexandra (Cedric) Merle and David (Kavita) Moltz and his great-grandchildren Joseph Merle, Krishna Moltz, and Coco Moltz. He was predeceased by his brother Dan (Rose) Moltz and sister Dorothy (Max) Nedlin. And predeceased by his sisters/brothers-in-law: Florence (Robert) Whitefield; Lillian (William) Karol; Edith (Irving) Pichinson; Seymour (Rachel) Rubenstein. Remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and caregivers Frances Herrera, Sylvia Rafaya and Lope Rodriguez. He particularly loved music, everything from opera to popular song, and he loved to sing out the lyrics (all of which he remembered perfectly) of his favorites throughout the day and night. As a salesman Sidney was a valued employee of the Saul S. Siegal Fabric Co. for over 50 years. He was deeply loved and appreciated by many, and the
